Who we are
Cloud Pickle is a trading name of Steven Brown, based in Spalding, Lincolnshire. If you have any questions about how we use your information, email us at hello@cloudpicklesolutions.com.
What we collect
When you fill in our "Get my free website" form, we collect:
- what you need (a new website, a better one, or something bigger) and any details you add
- your business name, trade and location
- what you'd like people to do on your website and, if you give them, the booking app you use, your business address and your Facebook or Instagram link
- your name, phone number, email address and the best time to call
To stop spam, the form also keeps a scrambled (hashed) copy of your connection's IP address for up to 24 hours. We don't collect anything else about you through this website.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to your request and talk to you about your website. If you go ahead, we also use them to build and look after your website and to bill you. We rely on the fact that you've asked us to do this, and on our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us.
We won't send you marketing emails or pass your details to anyone to market to you.
On your device
To save you retyping, the form keeps your answers in your browser until you send it. They're deleted once you've sent the form, and you can clear them at any time by clearing your browser's site data. This website doesn't use tracking cookies or analytics.
Who else sees it
Only us, and the companies that run our systems for us: Hostinger, our website host, which sends your enquiry to us, and Microsoft, which runs our email and the Power Automate service we use to organise enquiries. If you become a client, your monthly Direct Debit is handled by GoCardless, who process your bank details for us. They all process your details on our behalf. We never sell your information.
How long we keep it
If you don't become a client, we delete your details within 12 months. If you do, we keep them while we look after your website and for six years afterwards, for our accounts.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just email hello@cloudpicklesolutions.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
